Piazza Otto

Otto Piazza is an accomplished sculptor able to work with wood as well as stone, but also with Corten steel or any other material. In his works we find figures from past cultures, especially when he uses extremely hard marbles such as Noir Belge, from which he draws human forms reminiscent of the ancient Kouroi. Sculpture is volume and Otto Piazza's work conveys strength and stability, might and rigour, as if his human forms had inherited their power from the mountains.
