UNIKADO

UNIKADO is a symbolic project that impressively celebrates the 30 year anniversary of UNIKA and highlights the creativity and craftsmanship of its artists. During the exhibition period of the UNIKA 2024 art fair, an impressive viewing platform with an artistic installation is being created at the Runggaditsch tennis center in Ortisei. This installation consists of 45 individually designed wooden beams, interlocked with one another and arranged around the structure of the platform. The platform itself is elevated at a height of 3 meters and supported by a stable iron framework. A staircase provides access to the platform, which has a diameter of 3 meters and is equipped with a secure railing made of iron rods. The wooden beams, made from easy to work woods such as Swiss pine, larch or limewood, measure 400 x 15 x 15 cm. They are artfully bolted together and wrap around the structure, creating a fascinating and aesthetic form. UNIKADO stands as a monument to three decades of artistic excellence and masterful craftsmanship, representing the essence of UNIKA in a unique and visually appealing way.
